Amazing scratch built MIG 21 panel by Adrian Kamovt, he has already built a complete Kamov Ka50 cockpit, also from scratch.

In picture above  you can see his panel vs real. To do this job he use a lot of skills in electronics/mechanics , and lately also a 3D printer.

The team at Realsim.cz do have many nice projects, one of the new Czech Mig-21 project (No:9414) from a real Mig. They already have a DC9 up and running ready for you to rent also made from a real cockpit!  If this interest you follow this link https://www.realsim.cz/en/

For the people tha’t like Helicopters

The UH-1 Iroquois, better known as the Huey, is one of the most iconic helicopters in the world. Indispensable in the Vietnam War, the Huey continues to serve in both military and civilian roles around the globe today. DCS: UH-1H features an updated model of the helicopter armed with rockets, gatling guns, and door gunner machine guns. The simulation offers both extreme realism in its flight and systems modeling as well as a variety of options to reduce the learning curve for new players, including an Easy flight mode. DCS: UH-1H provides multiple player positions, including pilot, co-pilot, and door gunners. A handcrafted storyline campaign is included as well as a number of single missions and a training course.

How can you interface your more advanced hardware !

So you want to build a panel for your DCS: World aircraft. Whether you own a CNC machine or just a drill and a hot glue gun, you probably have some idea of how to use the tools available to you to mount controls such as push buttons, toggle switches, rotary encoders and potentiometers to a faceplate.
Once you have done that, you need a way to connect these controls to your DCS: World aircraft.

If your aircraft is supported by DCS-BIOS, read on to find out if DCS-BIOS is right for you.

DCS-BIOS is a community-maintained Export.lua file for use with DCS: World. It provides a stable, documented interface for external hardware and software to interact with the clickable cockpit of a DCS: World aircraft.

Are you in the mood for a good movie ?

We at H.C.B.C have put together a recommendation list for you, we belive this is some of the best aviation movies under this subject. If you have not seen them we strongly recommend it.

Iron Eagle (1986)

When Doug’s father, an Air Force Pilot, is shot down by MiGs belonging to a radical Middle Eastern state, no one seems able to get him out. Doug finds Chappy, an Air Force Colonel who is intrigued by the idea of sending in two fighters piloted by himself and Doug to rescue Doug’s father after bombing the MiG base. Their only problems: Borrowing two fighters, getting them from California to the Mediteranean without anyone noticing, and Doug’s inability to hit anything unless he has music playing. Then come the minor problems of the state’s air defenses.

Thunderball (1965)

Thunderball is a 1965 British spy film and the fourth in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions, starring Sean Connery as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Ian Fleming, which in turn was based on an original screenplay by Jack Whittingham. It was directed by Terence Young, with its screenplay by Richard Maibaum and John Hopkins. The movie would have been the first of the Bond series if not for legal disputes over copyright issues.

Final Countdown (1980)

The Final Countdown is a spellbinding sci-fi action hit filmed on locaton aboard the U.S.S. Nimitz. The time is now, the place is aboard the U.S.S.. Nimitz. Suddenly, a freak electrical storm engulfs the ship and triggers the impossible: the Nimitz is hurtled back in time to Dec. 6, 1941. The crew must decide between allowing the bloody attack on Pearl Harbor to take place or preventing it, which could forever change the course of history.
