H.C.B.C Recommended software’s for WW2 pilot’s

Best software’s to interface is DCS if you plan build a full size cockpit for a fighter from ww2 , but make sure there is a flight model ( not AI ) for the type you like build first. As this software is a bit new and flight models are complex there is not so many made.  There is also software such as IL-2 Sturmovik but not so many options to interface. Prepar3D
made by Lockheed Martin is a better option for you then ” it also have a lot of flight models ”

DCS: Normandy 1944 adds 93,000 square kilometers of Europe to fight over

The DCS: Normandy 1944 Map is centered on the World War II battlefield of Normandy, France and is specifically created to depict the period after the D-Day landings and the establishment of several allied airfields in Normandy to support the beachhead breakout in late June 1944. The map measures 267 x 348 kilometers and includes airfields in both Normandy and southern England. The map includes the famous D-Day landing beaches and the “Atlantic Wall”, rolling bocage fields of Normandy, large cities like Caen and Rouen, ports of Cherbourg and Le Havre, and 30 airfields. The map also includes multiple seasons and more detail and accuracy than any previous DCS World map by utilizing new map technologies.
In addition to being developed to support DCS: World War II modules, other module eras from the Korean War to Modern Day may also be used with this map.

KEEP’EM FLYING

A good rule is to update your screen card driver and keep your software updated.

Deactivate all Power savings in Windows for your USB ports, as this can result in some of your modules or controls go to sleep in the middle of a battle.

IT CAN BRING YOU BACK IN TIME

Feel the heat in the air , watch your fuel gauge and check your 6

Spitfire in DCS

The British Spitfire is one of the most iconic fighter aircraft of World War II. Most famous for its role in the Battle of Britain, the Spitfire served as Britain’s primary fighter during the entirety of the war. The Spitfire combines graceful lines, eye-watering dogfight performance, and heavy firepower in its later variants. For DCS World, we are happy to bring you the most accurate and realistic simulation of the Spitfire LF Mk IX ever created.

Are you in the mood for a good movie ?

We at H.C.B.C have put together a recommendation list for you, we belive this is some of the best aviation movies under this subject. If you have not seen them we strongly recommend it.

WW2 pilot Lounge

The Battle of Britain (1969)

In the greatest air battle of WWII, Harry Andrews, Michael Caine and Sir Laurence Olivier take to the skies to fend off the German invasion of England.

Memphis Belle (190)

Memphis Belle shamelessly (and yet gloriously) incorporates just about every cliché in the flight-movie handbook. If you’re a big fan of aviation movies–especially movies about World War II bomber crews–you’ll be glad that the genre’s clichés have been handled with such professional flair. As it follows the crew of a B-17 bomber on its final and most dangerous mission over Germany, Memphis Belle may be little more than a slick and highly authentic presentation of familiar thrills and characters, but it’s a rousing piece of entertainment. Featuring an ensemble cast of fresh faces who’ve since enjoyed thriving careers (including Billy Zane, Sean Astin, Eric Stoltz, D.B. Sweeney, and Harry Connick Jr.)
